Rahul Ananda is a prominent Bangladeshi folk musician and the frontman of the popular band Joler Gaan. He is also known for his extensive collection of over 3,000 handmade musical instruments.

His residence, a 140-year-old house in Dhaka's Dhanmondi area, was looted and set on fire by the Islamic mob trying to cleanse the country of non-Muslims, specifically Hindus.

His family had to flee to safety. This house was a cultural hub, frequently visited by artists and even French President Emmanuel Macron during his 2023 visit to Dhaka​...
